North & Needle was founded in 2018 by a small team of designers, craftspeople, and home obsessives in Portland, Oregon. We began with a simple curation of candles and textiles from makers we admired, and grew slowly, by word of mouth, into the brand we are today.
Everything we sell is chosen with a single question in mind: will this make someone's home feel more like theirs? We look for quality of material, integrity of craft, and a relationship to the everyday that elevates rather than overwhelms.
We are a small team, and we like it that way. We know our makers. We test every product we sell. We answer our own emails. And we believe that a business can grow thoughtfully, without sacrificing the care that made it worth growing in the first place.
